LEADERSHIP & IMPACT

Where strategy becomes understood.

I lead at the intersection of internal communications, knowledge management, technology, and employee experience.

My role is connecting what leaders need the organization to understand with the systems, governance, and experiences that help people put that understanding into action.

THE STRATEGY

01

Align the narrative.

Strategy loses force when every function explains it differently. I help leaders establish clear enterprise narratives, lead crisis and advocacy communications through high-stakes moments, and build communication approaches that move across functions, platforms, and audiences without losing their intent.

My journalism background brings discipline to that work. I ask the questions that expose ambiguity, identify the information that matters and shape messages around what audiences actually need to know.

Areas of leadership

  • Executive and stakeholder communications

  • Crisis communications and reputation management

  • Enterprise narrative development

  • Public policy and advocacy communications

  • Internal communications strategy

  • Organizational change and transformation

  • Leadership positioning

02

Build the trust.

Employees, and increasingly AI systems, depend on the quality of an organization’s underlying knowledge. When that information is outdated, fragmented or contradictory, the result is more than a content problem. It creates operational friction and weakens trust.

I use content intelligence to evaluate what information exists, how well it performs and whether people can confidently act on it. Then I help establish the architecture, standards and ownership required to make enterprise knowledge more accurate, findable and sustainable.

Areas of leadership

  • Enterprise knowledge strategy

  • Content intelligence and audits

  • AI and search readiness

  • Knowledge architecture

  • Content governance and lifecycle management

03

Design the experience.

An answer no one can find is the same as no answer.

I connect content strategy, UX, platform capabilities, and audience needs to design employee experiences that make information easier to find, understand, trust, and use. This means looking beyond the page or message and examining the entire path between a person's question and the action they need to take.

Areas of leadership

  • Digital employee experience

  • ServiceNow and enterprise platforms

  • Content operations

  • Audience journeys and personalization

  • Adoption, measurement and optimization

CURRENT ROLE

Clarity at global scale.

I lead content strategy and editorial operations for Gilead Sciences' global HR portal, serving nearly 30,000 employees and contractors.

My work brings together HR, IT, communications, UX, and analytics to improve how employee knowledge is structured, governed, discovered, and experienced. This includes establishing content standards, guiding portal experiences, strengthening self-service, improving search, leading the adoption of AI tools like Synthesia, and preparing knowledge for an increasingly AI-enabled workplace.

The work requires aligning stakeholders, clarifying ownership, understanding employee needs, and creating systems that can maintain trust at enterprise scale.

THE IMPACT

Gilead Sciences

Turned 30,000+ employee searches into a content intelligence practice that improves how people find HR answers. Helped bring 1,400+ policies under a governance framework projected to save about $270K a year. Rebuilt GLOBE, the newsletter for Gilead's Black employee resource group, into an agency-quality communications platform.

Enterprise knowledge and digital employee experience

GSK

Developed a gamified campaign that increased early registration for an internal conference by 20%. Produced two award-winning videos that brought organizational priorities to life.

Creative employee engagement

North Carolina Healthcare Association
